Kære Beboer / Dear residents
Bestyrelsen har øget opmærksomhed på foreningens brandsikkerhed for tiden. Dette omhandler to konkrete forhold, nemlig flugtveje og røgalarmer.
The owner’s association is currently focused on fire safety. This includes two specific areas, namely escape routes and smoke alarms.
FLUGTVEJE:
I tilfælde af brand skal alle kunne komme hurtigt og uhindret ned af trapperne, som er vores eneste flugtvej. Desværre er det konstateret at mange har valgt at bruge trappeopgangene til opbevaring af forskellige genstande. Der er fundet cykler, barnevogne, skabe, stole, skostativer, mv. Dette er imod brandmyndighedernes anbefalinger og i strid med husordenen. Det skal understreges at beboer på 6. sal er ikke undtaget disse regler. Bestyrelsen har forsøgt træffe de beboer, hvor det er et problem (hvor det var muligt) og har i dag markeret de genstande som skal fjernes.
Opleves der ikke en forbedring kan det være nødvendigt for bestyrelsen at gennemføre en rydning af genstandene fra trappeopgangene.
For at imødekomme nogle af beboernes behov, vil der frem til nytår køre en forsøgsordning, hvor barnevogne må stilles under trappen i stueetagen. Dette er kun tilladt såfremt barnevognen(e) ikke rager ud fra pladsen under trappen. Dette gælder alene barnevogne og ikke andre genstande, cykler, børnecykler, mv.
ESCAPE ROUTES:
Residents have to be able to move down the only available escape route (the stairs) quickly and unhindered in the event of a fire. Unfortunately, it has been discovered that many residents use the area outside their door to store a number of different items. Bicycles, strollers, cupboards, chairs, shoe racks, etc. have been discovered. This is against the fire authorities recommendations and a violation of the house rules. These rules also apply to residents who live on the 6th floor. The owners association has tried to contact the residents with items outside their door and has today marked items that have to be removed.
It may be necessary for the owners association to remove items from the escape routes if there isn’t an improvement to this issue.
To accomodate the needs of some of the residents we will allow strollers to be stored under the stairs on the ground floor. This will be on a trial period until new years. It will only be permitted as long as the stroller(s) does not stick out from the space under the stairs. This trial only applies for strollers, not for other items, bicycles, kids bikes, etc..
RØGALARM:
For at beskytte jer selv og jeres naboere opfordres alle til at udskifte deres røgalarm. De oprindelige røgalarmer, som blev installeret i forbindelse med opførelsen af bygningerne, er muligvis “forældet”. Bag på alarmen har producenten angivet en udløbsdato, som for de fleste er 2019/2020. Det er beboernes eget ansvar at vedligeholde/udskifte alarmen. Røgalarmen og tilhørende underlag (se vedhæftet billede) findes hos forskellige forhandlere, herunder fx. www.lavprisel.dk. Udskiftningen kan foretages selv, men det anbefales at benytte en elektriker, hvis man er tvivl.
SMOKE ALARM:
To protect yourself and your neighbors you are hereby encouraged to buy a new smoke alarm. The building’s original smoke alarms are outdated. On the back of the alarm the manufacturer has printed an expiration date, which for most is 2019/2020. It is the residents responsibility to maintain/update the alarms. The smoke alarm and necessary base plate (see picture) can be found at different online stores eg. www.lavprisel.dk. It is possible to carry out the installation yourself but if in doubt please use an electrician.
